Every six months the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds a General Conference where members of the Church worldwide gather together in churches and via radio, television, satellite, and the internet to listen to the teachings of living prophets and apostles as well as other selected speakers. These conferences have taken place since the early days of the Church, but archived transcripts are generally available going back to October 1897. The purpose of this blog is to search the archives for gems of inspiration and history which might otherwise be overlooked for the enjoyment of anyone wishing to follow along.
The intent is to create a separate blog entry for each year, with daily quotes readily linkable to sites such as Facebook if people wish to share. The corresponding Facebook account goes by G.c. DailyQuote.
